Caregiver Omnimedia produces much needed resource for Family Caregivers

Caregiver Omnimedia, in partnership with the Toronto Central CCAC, has produced the first comprehensive consumer guide to help family caregivers transition from the hospital to the home. This 104 page resource covers both time spent in the hospital, how to successfully interact with staff, legal issues, what to expect in the hospital and then how to successfully manage caring for a family member or loved one at home.

It is expected that CCAC staff in the hospital, discharge planners, home care providers and retailers will quickly distribute the first 50,000 copies of this publication to their clients / admitted patients.
